Healthy and open feet can make a big difference in freeing the spine and supporting the internal organs. Working with the feet awakens many neurological pathways that run through the body. This short sequence starts in downward-facing dog to enliven the feet and the toes. Then sit on your heels, stretching the tops and then the balls of the feet, to open the feet and ankles. Finally, sit and place your fingers between your toes to work the toes and feet in different directions. Your body will thank you for making this therapeutic sequence a daily practice.
